I didn't hate Ghost World as much as you did, but I found myself . . . underwhelmed, to say the least. I expected to love it; I'd heard so many great thing about it. But it just bored and annoyed me. I that Buscemi was excellent, and I thought it was a good role for him to take--a nice change of pace, without being contrivedly against type. I just wish the rest of the rest of the movie had lived up to his performance.

And here I was beginning to think I was the only one who didn't like it.

Oh--just one more thing: I'm 24, and I don't have a license or a car. Never bothered to get one, and although my girlfriend has been pressuring me to learn to drive, I've never had any particular desire to do so. So maybe that part wasn't so unbelievable.

I think if you made the movie focus on his character more it would have been more entertaining. Instead of a movie about her, a movie about him.

Like an entire movie about Jeffery Chaucer from A Knight's Tale. That'd be beautiful.

Or not.

Well the characters seemed like the kind who would have wanted a car. IE: being so happy about getting your own place, would make me think that a car would be the step before it. I dunno, maybe it's just me.

I suppose you're right though, he said the resturant was only a 2 minute walk, and they said they'd rather bug him, so in a small town a car seems unimportant.

and this site *isn't* flat boring and trendy? the only thing that caught my eye was a tracker referal. i wouldn't particularly know what the current trends are. you can say what you want, i'm not trying to be a high and mighty anyone who self prolclaims their authority on the subject. i'm more intrested in content, and i don't particularly require your aproval.

Well that's good then, strong willed women impress me. Let your feminine wiles take you to strange places, with strange people! I dig it.

...alright, fair enough.
although i gotta say those curly brushy things and silkscreen are trendy and cliche as all hell. just a tip.
