Thank god, I actually put a date stamp in the code for 8.5 (point). This design was the turning point for EB, or at least for me. I still love this design, I dunno why, but it became the standard for EB designs for ages. They got better, but they never got worse. I've still been meaning to bring the classic EB polls back. OK, so maybe they got worse, look at this next one.

Let me take this moment to make clear a few more things: The lack of entries in the archives severly distracts from the design as a whole. On some designs, the writing breaks the site, and on some, the writing makes it. By writing, I mean the text layout. I prided myself on exceptional readability and appearance and all that is lost here.
Also, take note that, yes, the dates are correct. There were really sometimes only two days between new designs. Ask anyone who read EB back then, they'll tell you it's true.
