It is the eve of my defeat. The hunter is moving far from me. Ernesting Hemmingway once wrote "But a man is not made for defeat. He may be destroyed, but he will never be defeated." He was wrong. Life has lost its meaning.

Went driving tonight. Lots of people out with flags, candles, and posters. It was a touching sight. Horns were blasting approval left and right. It's good to see the country taking it so well.

In order to continue living, we must cast aside all our fears. In this time of uncertainty, we must look the possibility of death straight in the face, and not waver. It will take more courage than any other act to do this simple task: Continue with everyday life.

May the souls of the innoncent rest in peace. You're home now.
God have mercy.

This is far worse than Pearl Harbor. Note I don't share Brad's views: I don't know what happened. I don't have a clue. All I know is, someone is going to pay, whether innocent or not.
